He added: “Given the increase in production costs and the stabilization of the wheat rate over the past two years, parliamentarians had complaints on the rate of 1600 tomans in support of farmers’ rights, and were constantly seeking to increase this rate.

Papi Zadeh continued: Today, at the Commission, the rate of the guaranteed purchase price per kilogram of wheat increased by 1,900 USD for the year 2018-2019, which could provide farmers with a minimum of expense.

The Commissioner for Agriculture endorsed the end: the Consolidation Commission considered increasing the guaranteed purchase price of wheat in the next year’s budget bill, and it is hoped that this increase would be openly agreed upon.
