Factories involved in buying wheat, paving the way for implementation of the liberalization plan
The president of one of the production units said: We discussed export logging in the past, but unfortunately last year we stopped supplying wheat from the Iranian state trading company, and the millers had to enter the export market through a temporary crossing. He said: In the face of currency fluctuations, entering the export market is no longer profitable.
He emphasized that direct purchase of wheat from farmers by the mill will pave the way for the implementation of the liberalization plan in the flour industry. In fact, if the wheat is to be bought directly from farmers it is the flour mills that must act because they are the real consumer of the product.
He added that the criteria for wheat grain aging, gluten content, barley flamingo and proper moisture are factors that are important for wheat to enter a mill, but these factors come in terms of the variety of wheat we have for mixing.
In another part of his remarks, he said: unfortunately the concern of other factories is to preserve the moisture of the flour. Due to climate conditions, some of the moisture content of the flour is often lost and the bags of flour become deficient and we cannot deliver the flour to the bakers with standard moisture, in my opinion, the government should provide facilities to the factories in the hot seasons of the year.
