Ministry of Agriculture announced that from the beginning of the harvest season until September 1st, seven million six hundred and seventy thousand tonnes of wheat has been purchased on the needs of farmers.

According to the ministry of agriculture and the information and communication technology department the value of wheat purchased so far has been 13 thousand 2 hundred and 85 billion tomans which until the aforementioned date, 11 thousand and 437 billion tomans had been paid to farmers and 1 thousand and 848 billion tomans will be paid in due course.

According to this report, Khuzestan province with 1,301,000 tonnes, Kordestan with 721,000 tonnes, Fars with 651,000 tonnes, Golestan with 559,000 tonnes, and Kermanshah with 545,000 tonnes have had the highest wheat purchase rate from farmers.
