Abbas Keshavar, Deputy Agriculture Minister of Agriculture, along with the head of Agriculture Organization of Qazvin Province, visited the Qazvin province on Wednesday at the Tehran University’s Soil and Water Research Station in Kohin.

Abbas Keshavarz stated: “At this station, management plans should be provided to the farmers, and the doctrine of the research center is that at least five species of dry farming products should be cultivated according to this research.”

Keshavarz said: “In agricultural production, fertilizer use should be based on expert advice, so that a good product can be obtained.

Deputy Agriculture Minister of Agriculture said: To maintain the construction of soil and organic matter, it should be used enough to fertilize and modernize cultivation methods for farmers.

He recalled that 13 wheat cultivars had been irradiated and investigated at pilot stations at the research station of Soil and Water University of Tehran.

 More than 45 cases of Ph.D. and MA dissertations on soil tillage Protection have been implemented.

The head of the Agriculture Organization of Qazvin province said that at this station, 30 hectares of barley, 25 hectares of lentils and 10 hectares of beetroot and one hectare of potatoes and 38 hectares of gardens were planted on lands.

He said: More than 1,000 farmers and operators all over the country have launched the research project of the center.
