Director General of Crop Affairs and Commercial Services of Qom province said: The cost of each bag of flour in Qom province is 10 thousand Tomans less than other provinces and Qom has the best quality flour in the country.
Behzad Radmanesh said: There is only one wheat storage center in Qom province, which is a property owned by the Iranian Commerce Company.
He said that the existence of one silo for the Qom province is not enough, he added: “We are pursuing the construction of another silo with the participation of the private sector.”
Director General of Crop Affairs and Commercial Services of Qom province said that the wheat needed in Qom province has already been stored. He added, “Fortunately, there is no problem in terms of supplying the wheat demanded in this province.
The private bakers can buy flour from other provinces and bakers from other provinces also buy flour from Qom because of its high quality and reasonable prices,” Radmanan continued.
He stated that the cost of each bag of flour in Qom province is 10 thousand Tomans less than that of other provinces and also the flour of this province in terms of quality has the country’s first rank.
Director General of Crop Affairs and Commercial Services of Qom province said: According to statistics, 90 percent of private bakers provide their required flour from inside the province.
