Akbar Fathi told reporters, referring to the positive
effects of rainfall after several years of drought, said the early spring
rainfall prevented the frost damage and compensated the farms need for water.

He stressed the necessity of using rainfall for nutrition in
the agricultural sector of the province and continued: Considering the
probability of an outbreak of certain diseases, actions should be taken to
combat these landslides.

Referring to the livestock belonging to the rangeland, he
added: “Farvardin month’s rainfall has strengthened the rangeland, and given the
importation of some inputs, we will not need to supply our forage from imported
inputs.

Organization stated that in the field of grain cultivation, due to the increase
in rainfall, an increase of 5 percent of oilseed production in the province was
planned. He said: Considering the necessity of using “road”
fertilizer for vegetative nutrition, it has been promoted to increase the
distribution of this fertilizer.

Referring to the increase in the humidity in the field of
agriculture, the probability of an outbreak of yellow wheat rust increases,
said the province’s farms are monitoring to take action if this disease is
detected.
