The director of the bottleneck Agricultural Jihad announced the production of 900 tonnes of native and cultivated wheat seeds in the city.

Gholamreza Ghanbari, referring to the distribution of 35 tons of native and cultivated wheat seeds in the city of Gloucester, said: The seeds were sown on 194 hectares of the city’s farms.

He added: For the production of wheat seed, the contract for cultivation of Meraj cultivars, Ehsan was concluded with farmers in 75 hectares of the city’s farms.

Director of Agricultural Jihad of Gloucester County said: It is expected to produce 900 tons of native and cultivated wheat seeds this year.  

It is worth mentioning that this year, 7,000 hectares of land were allocated for wheat cultivation.
