Mohammad Bagher Nobakht, on the sidelines of the Government Cabinet meeting, said that the available resources are limited, he added: “Every governmental sector is trying to get more resources.” For example, in the agricultural sector, if we were to give most resources to farmers and the council considers the price of one kilo wheat being 2000 or 3000 Tomans instead of 1,470 Tomans, we would face with a shortage of resources, but our discussion is not just agriculture, while retirees, teachers and …all have demands regarding their retirement pensions and the organization of the budget & planning should be responsive to all of these.
He added that guilds should avoid agitating each other; the media in the sanctions circumstances shall not allow people to agitate others to make the sectors demanding for more.
He continued: If this year we were able to pay the farmers in advance for their wheat costs, due to the fact that we received 3 trillion dollars from banks with profit of 20% to recover the money they paid. Now the agricultural association is provoking that there is not enough money. If we had money, we would have price cost of wheat at 2000 Tomans per kilo.
Nobackht continued, “If any other class of people & communities wants more money than we would need to compensate for this by budgeting from academics, cultures, and treatment shear money to do things.”
He added: “In light of economic growth and job creations, the issue of poverty would definitely be reduced, and since past two years, we have increased the pension payments to the covered people by three to five times already.
He said: “People who are eligible for receiving subsidies will receive this subsidies, and we will have support packages next year in the program that are not in budget form, but in the form of compensatory policies, so that we can properly pass the inventory with the lowest pressure on people.
