Minister of Agriculture said that with regard to the price difference of bran sales correspondences were made with the head of market regulation and the president; it is ordered that this carelessness should be avoided and we hope to solve this problem.
On the sidelines of the 18th International Exhibition of Livestock, Poultry and Related Industries, Mahmoud Hojati said: The Ministry of Agriculture system announced the purchase of wheat bran for 840tomans, but the ministry of industry, mining and trade offered it for 1250 tomans.
He added that in order to resolve the price difference between the wheat bran between the two ministries, we also made a letter to the head of the market regulator, who is the minister of industry, mining and commerce, and said he knew the matter was being investigated. The matter was also notified to the President and he ordered them to prevent such carelessness.
Minister of Agriculture said that we hope this problem will be solved because it is not true that we give wheat at 660 tomans and for more than 7 million tons to flour mills and on the other hand bran is given at 1200 tomans to farmers and this is not fair.
He added: “Of course, flour mills also have a problem that needs to be resolved in their own way and that the price of bran before the Eid has increased by 30% to 40% and if they want to raise it again it will have an impact on the finished products.
Hojati emphasized: these precautions should be done and the President’s order should prevent such carelessness.
