Change your diet to prevent cancer
The head of the health department of
Ahvaz University of Medical Sciences emphasized that a proper food pattern
should be followed to prevent cancer.
Seyyed Mehdi Hosseini Zadeh said in
an interview with IRNA news agency on Tuesday that: “More use of fresh
fruits and vegetables is one of the effective factors in the diet, so plan
ahead that you can eat at least five servings of fruits and vegetables a day.
“Using a lot of fruits and
vegetables to stop starvation can help you consume fewer foods such as meat,
cheese and unhealthy snacks,” he added.
Hosseini Zadeh continued, “It is
better to use more whole grains; instead of white bread, Taftoon and Lavash,
use bread made from whole wheat flour, such as soups and whole grains, so that
some fiber Your daily requirement is met.
The head of the health department at
Ahvaz University of Medical Sciences said: “Fiber is considered as an
anticancer agent, and it also prevents weight gain.”
He said: Take at least 6 to 8 glasses
of water daily and minimize the consumption of carbonated soft drinks and
juices, and try not to use prepared foods such as sandwiches, pizzas and canned
meals more than once a week, instead of it use steamed, boiled foods.
Hosseini Zadeh said: Generally, use
low-fat foods and avoid frying foods; liquid oils such as olive oil, rapeseed
oil, cholesterol-free, and if these oils are not exposed to extreme heat, they
are suitable for proper consumption.

Ahvaz University of Medical Sciences continued: Separate fats of meat and chicken
before cooking; use fish 2 times a week to eat red meat, and use fish oil and
vitamin E capsules in consultation with your doctor.
He added: avoid salty foods such as
nuts, smoked fish, salmon cheese, chips, canned and pickles, sausages and
salmon, and do not add salad or salt yogurt to the table.
